Indicators

The performance indicator is the percentage of healthy building certification points achieved, quantifying the extent to which a space has satisfied the requirements set forth by a healthy building certification program. The context indicator is the total number of building occupants.

To calculate the performance indicator:

To calculate the performance indicator:

  1. Identify the number of points the project earned under the certification program.
  2. Identify the total points available under the certification program.
  3. Calculate the percentage of healthy building certification points achieved.

This is expressed mathematically as:

P = (E / N) x 100

P =
percentage of healthy building certification points achieved
E =
number of points earned under the certification program
N =
total number of points available under the certification program

Scoring

Points assignment

Points Percentage of Healthy Building Certification Points
3 points 20 – 40% certification points
6 points 41 - 64% certification points or achievement of requirement #1
9 points 65 - 79% certification points
12 points 80 - 100% certification points
